WHAT ARE GREEK AWARDS?

Northwestern’s 2026 Greek Awards sought to recognize the chapters and individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to creating and reinforcing a collaborative, inclusive community of brotherhood over the course of the 2025-26 academic year. Recipients were recognized at the 2026 NU FSL Greek Week Awards Banquet at the conclusion of this year’s Greek Week, on April 26th, 2026.

HOW ARE CHAPTERS AND INDIVIDUALS SELECTED?

Chapters and individuals were nominated and chosen for the 2026 Greek Awards by the Interfraternity Council Presidential Forum, a body composed of the nine IFC chapter presidents and the members of the IFC executive board.

CHAPTER OF THE YEAR

This award recognizes the chapter that defines excellence across every pillar of the fraternity experience, serving as the definitive model for leadership within the Northwestern greek community.

BROTHER OF THE YEAR

This award recognizes an individual member, nominated by his peers, who exemplifies the core values of fraternity life at Northwestern and has served as a premier role model through distinguished leadership, academic integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the betterment of the community.

This award recognizes a chapter that has demonstrated a superior commitment to internal cohesion and member development and has fostered a culture of genuine, lifelong connection.

This award recognizes the chapter that has executed the most impactful external initiatives over the past academic year, including excellence in philanthropic fundraising, high-engagement community service, and campus-wide events.
