LAMBDA CHI ALPHA

The Alpha Iota Zeta Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha at Northwestern University established in 1917, is part of a brotherhood dedicated to leadership, scholarship, service, and meaningful lifelong connection. Our chapter brings together students from a wide range of academic interests and backgrounds who are united by a shared commitment to personal growth, campus involvement, and building a strong community during their time at Northwestern. We live by our motto, “Vir Quisque Vir”, every man a man.

Members of Lambda Chi Alpha are active across campus in academics, student organizations, athletics, research, and professional development groups. The chapter emphasizes leadership development and service, encouraging brothers to take on roles that contribute positively to both the university and the broader Evanston and Chicago communities. Academic success and personal accountability are core parts of the experience, supported by a culture that values discipline, encouragement, and mutual respect among members.
