ABOUT ZETA BETA TAU
The Gamma Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau was founded at Northwestern University in 1976, carrying forward a tradition of excellence rooted in the fraternity's founding principles dating back to 1898. In the nearly five decades since its establishment on Northwestern's campus, the Gamma Chapter has grown into a distinguished pillar of the Greek community, upholding the values of integrity, brotherhood, and service that have defined Zeta Beta Tau for over a century.
The men of the Gamma Chapter are an accomplished and well-rounded group, with members holding a plethora of leadership positions across Northwestern's campus, including student government, academic organizations, club sports, and professional societies. Our brothers bring diverse backgrounds and ambitions to the chapter, united by a shared commitment to making a meaningful impact both within the University and in the broader Evanston and Chicago communities.
Service is at the heart of what we do. The Gamma Chapter is proud to support local homeless shelters and regularly organizes bone marrow and blood drives that save lives in our community. We also collaborate with fellow Greek organizations on initiatives benefiting Wounded Warriors and children facing visual impairments, causes that speak to our deep sense of civic responsibility and compassion. Through these partnerships, our brothers develop lasting bonds not only within our chapter, but across the Greek community as a whole.
With a network of dedicated alumni and a membership that continues to grow in both size and stature, the Gamma Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau looks forward to building on its legacy of leadership, brotherhood, and service.
We invite you to get to know us and experience firsthand what makes our chapter exceptional.
